associate marriage and family therapist
As the child of two first-generation immigrants from different sides of the globe, I have a unique strength in holding and honoring different perspectives and ways of being. I also recognize that when individuals are at the intersection of cultural experiences, finding authenticity while feeling connected can be challenging. I feel passionate about helping people experience wholeness within their inner-selves and within their world by intentionally engaging with these challenges.
My personal healing journey guided me towards embodied living: creating a respectful and appreciative relationship between the mind and body. Because of my own experiences of anxiety, I often found my brain and body at war with each other. If you're in a similar place, I hope to help you become more embodied by learning how to attune to your own needs, uncover your intuition, and nurture a compassionate sense of inner-self.
In addition to working as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at CCEC, I work with Santa Barbara Unified School District as an Educationally-Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) therapist who supports high school and junior high students towards their IEP mental health goals.
